During a NASA delegation visit to the State of Kuwait, Kuwait University held a meeting chaired by Minister Plenipotentiary Khaled Al-Zaabi.

From NASA’s side, Deputy Assistant Administrator Casey Wessel and Public Affairs Officer Catherine Hamilton attended.

Meeting Objectives

The discussion aimed to “explore Kuwait’s interests in space and the possibility of cooperation in the space field.” American space policy and Kuwaiti visions for future projects were reviewed.

Meeting Outcome

The Kuwait National Space Research Center was designated as the official point of contact for cooperation between NASA and relevant Kuwaiti entities.
