Acting President of Kuwait University Prof. Meshari Al-Harbi received the Ambassadors of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Republic of Chad, Kingdom of Belgium, and the Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Serbia accredited to the country. He first received His Excellency the Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Serbia to the State of Kuwait Filip Katić, then His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Chad to Kuwait Dr. Taher Al-Nazeef, His Excellency the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the State of Kuwait Salah Ali Al-Malki, and finally received His Excellency the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium Christian Doms, with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations between Kuwait University and prestigious international universities within the framework of student and academic exchange.
Initially, Acting President of Kuwait University Prof. Meshari Al-Harbi welcomed the ambassadors of brotherly and friendly countries, emphasizing Kuwait University’s keenness to expand scientific and cultural cooperation horizons with all countries of the world within the framework of student exchange and joint programs between the two parties regarding receiving students to study at Kuwait University, and learning about the latest academic developments and the most important research and scientific advances.
Prof. Al-Harbi explained that during these fruitful meetings, joint scientific discussions were exchanged and different viewpoints were reviewed on many issues and topics related to student exchange and joint research cooperation, confirming Kuwait University’s keenness to explore ways of cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries, particularly regarding research and academic aspects, with the aim of enhancing cultural and academic relations, while considering the possibility of expanding joint academic cooperation between the two parties, in order to add academic and research standards contributing to achieving a number of accomplishments that would help Kuwait University advance in scientific and international forums.
In the same context, the ambassadors of brotherly and friendly countries expressed their great happiness with the current academic and cultural cooperation with Kuwait University, aiming to increase communication and scientific exchange between them to advance the academic and research aspects, hoping for more specialized missions at Kuwait University and more fruitful academic cooperation between Kuwait University and universities and educational institutions in their countries.
